The Crown Heights community gathered for a moving and joyous Hachnasas Sefer Torah at Friendship Circle of Brooklyn’s Center, celebrating the dedication of a Torah to their weekly Minyan amidst music, dancing, and so much joy.
The Torah was dedicated in memory of Chaya Kirsh A”H, a devoted volunteer whose giving heart reflected the very essence of Friendship Circle. Her legacy will now be forever connected to a Torah that will be read from, danced with, and cherished for generations.
After the Torah was completed and the 12 Pesukim were recited, everyone joined together for lively dancing and Hakafos, filling the Center with excitement, warmth, and simcha. This is the third Sefer Torah to be gifted to the FC Minyan.
