A child with special needs is paired with a teen volunteer. Together they participate in a host of programs and activities that will benefit the child and their teenage friend, both socially and recreationally.
Y.A.D. Boys
Geared for post Bar-Mitzvah boys, this group was met with huge success this past year, and we're sure we will build on that success. Programs include: Bi-monthly Shabbos Minyanim, Farbrengens and outings. Weekly Chavrusa learning on the subject of his choice, takes place every Wednesday night with Oholei Torah Zal Bochurim from 6.00-6.45pm.
Y.A.D. Girls
The most hip form of exercise is once again being offered to our girls – ZUMBA! Classes will take place throughout the winter on Motzei Shabbos. A recital at the completion of the season will definitely wow mothers and sisters. Other activities and programs include Sunday Socials, art classes, bowling leagues, and holiday programs.
