For nearly 10 years, the Friendship Circle of Brooklyn has brought joy, laughter and excitement to the lives of children and young adults with special needs – and their families. Pairing each child and young adult with a teenage volunteer, fostering understanding, inclusion and acceptance.
Over the past two years, the Friendship Circle has had the unique opportunity to have a soft launch in the Flatbush/BP area, organizing widely accepted and tremendously successful ZUMBA dance programs for young ladies with special needs, along with a host of outings and activities for this specific age group.
We are now gearing up to bring the magic of friendship and inclusion – the joy of bridging worlds – that we are known for, to the broader Brooklyn community. The Friendship Circle is a “for the people, by the people” non-profit organization and we rely on generous individuals, such as you, to keep the wheels of friendship turning.
Please partner with us, as we endeavor to create a circle of friendship throughout the Brooklyn, NY area.
