Mothers and daughters of the Friendship Circle of Brooklyn community gathered on Motzei Shabbos for a unique Cooking Demo by Sylvia Fallas of Cooking for my People.
The Demo provided a beautiful way for moms of children with special needs and their daughters, both mainstream and special, to get together in an enjoyable and inclusive environment. The smiles were evident on everyone’s faces as they participated in the interactive demonstration!
Sylvia kept everyone entertained and busy as they each got a turn to help her create the dishes. The menu for the evening included a delicious panko-herb salmon; a winter greens salad; and heavenly cookie and cream bars.
