Round table workshops are the new and innovative way of networking and learning.

Last week, parents, caregivers, service coordinators, therapists, friends and relatives of children and young adults with special needs gathered round, to listen, learn and be inspired at the Friendship Circle of Brooklyn’s Networking Night.

The events main address was delivered by Rabbi Yossi Paltiel, who shared his personal journey and experiences with the crowd. His words were heartfelt and inspiring, deeply touching everyone in the room. Rabbi Paltiel stressed the importance of the strength of a united family unit and how for a family to be healthy, the “heads”, the parents need to make sure they take time for themselves.

Following his speech, parents chose from a variety of topic choices that catered to different ages, stages and services, each one led by top experts in the field, and had time to both listen and discuss.

The Friendship Circle would like to thank Mrs. Amanda Levy, Mrs. Eidle Sputz, Mrs. Tzirl Goldman, Mrs. Nechama Braun, Mrs. Yehudis Heimfeld, Mrs. Shoshana Brenenson and Mr. Eli Rubin for their time, expertise and advise.

This event was made possible by the Friendship Circle of Brooklyn, co-sponsored by Proud Moments ABA and Hamaspik. A warm thank you to Mrs. Chaya Pape and Mrs. Chani Majesky for arranging this unique information evening.
