At tonight's Volunteer event, the young women who spend quality time with children and young adults with special needs will get a chance to answer this question...<br />
In the comments below, share YOUR thoughts, what is FRIENDSHIP in three words...

In celebration of #InternationalWomensDay, here are 5 lessons I have learnt from special needs moms:<br />
<br />
1. Love your children unconditionally.<br />
2. Fight for them - you are their greatest advocate.<br />
3. Don't give up when doors may seem to close on you.<br />
4. Support your friends. Listen and understand.<br />
5. Be mature. Understand what is and isn't important in life.

HIGHLIGHT OF THE MONTH<br />
Winter camp 5776 was one for the books, great location, awesome schedule and perfect staff. One can never gauge the success of a specific program or event, but this time we got a little glimpse into just that. It was the morning after... Friday, New Year 2016 people across the world are enjoying their day off, the phone rings at FCBKLN offices, Yosef H is on the line, requesting to speak with his "best friend" Berel. Yosef leaves a message that will forever be ingrained in our minds: "Berel, I had such a great time this week, can I have just one more day of Winter Camp, I miss my volunteers, I miss the fun, please, just one more day". This is what makes it all worth it!
