“The darkness of night sets the stage for a new dawn.”
-Chabad.org

Tonight we begin celebrating the last 2 days of Passover. The theme of the second part of the holiday is “the final redemption”. Although we may still be home, alone, lonely, let’s remember that the darkest part of the night is just before dawn. Let us enter these last 2 days with renewed faith that after this darkness we will experience the ultimate redemption where negativity will forever be removed from our world.

Please light holiday candles in memory of Chana bat Yehuda Leib at 7.17pm- tonight and AFTER 8.18pm- tomorrow (from a pre-existing flame) in Brooklyn

The world needs to hear about acts of kindness.
@Tablet magazine and Chabad.org popped by to interview Rabbi @Berel Majesky about how the Jewish community is responding to being in isolation - there were so many beautiful things to share.
No question that we are in a heavy and dark time, but we are lucky to be able to see the most beautiful side of humanity! Thank you so much to all those who reached out to see how they could help! Today, volunteers spent hours delivering a large amount Of brand new toys to the doorsteps of our FC families.
A few hours later, we received this message from a lady! Let this warm your hearts and put a smile on your faces! We got this - together, we will get through this!
Our vision for Virtual Friends at Home visits is coming to fruition! Thanks to our incredible school presidents - everyone doing their best, everyone stepping up! Amazing to see!
Send a meaningful gift to family and friends, a small packet of love, with an impact that will last all year long! We are offering beautifully created gift cards that you can personalize and share with friends and family in lieu of Mishloach Manos. Good luck to all our incredible runners tomorrow! They’ll be waking up in just a few hours to run/walk the Miami Marathon for Team Friendship Brooklyn!
Led by team captain Shaindy Dahan, this team has put in so much time, effort and energy to get here, so let’s show them some love ♥️♥️♥️!
This Wednesday, Yud Shvat, marks seventy years since the passing of the Previous Lubavitcher Rebbe, and essentially the day our Rebbe - known the world over as "The Rebbe" took on the mantle of leadership of Chabad-Lubavitch, paving the way for the mass transformation of world jewry, as we see it today. The Rebbe, in his first "Farbrengen" talk back in 1951, exclaimed, that the days of relying on a Rebbe are over, "I am here to help, but don't get to comfortable, we will demand much of you", setting in motion a global network of educational and communal centers across the globe.
The Friendship Circle is a testament to that mission, to not take the status quo at face value, and to constantly challenge society, bettering ourselves and the people around us, for good.
We believe that our work at the Friendship Circle in general and Brooklyn in particular, encapsulates this all - the boys and girls, children and adults with special needs, who for generations may have been cast aside, are not only finding their places in society, at FCBKLN, we enable them to take part in the doing of Mitzvos, learning Torah and being a part of the JEWISH community - our kids are the last frontier of including members of the Jewish world, in the community!
How fortunate are we.
Our initial thoughts were that our newly printed Tanyas would not be bound for quite some time. Yet, here we are, Erev Yud Shvat, with our Tanyas in our hands.
We are delivering the first copy to the Rebbes Library now, where it will be nestled among thousands of other Tanyas. This one is special to our community as it exclusively includes the names of hundreds of FC family members. We Daven for unlimited Brochas for our families.
Clubs Session 2 is here! Kids of ALL ABILITIES can learn and invent by combining STEM and creative materials. Register at fcbrooklyn.com/clubs
